Because life doesn’t stop after injury – we help people with tetraplegia regain their independence.

Supporting Independence for the Tetraplegic Community

Life can change in a single heartbeat. Whether caused by a sports injury, a fall, a road traffic collision, or a medical condition, the transition to living with immobility is a profound challenge that affects both physical freedom and mental well-being.

Regain exists to ensure that no one has to navigate this journey alone. We provide the tools, the community, and the opportunities necessary for people with tetraplegia to regain control over their lives and their futures.

Our Vision: A world where every everyone living with tetraplegia can live freely and fully.

Our Aims

  • Equipping for Independence
We fund life-changing equipment and facilities, from specialist wheelchairs and handcycles to adapted vehicles and voice-activated technology, helping people regain control over everyday life.
  • Encouraging Active Lives
We support people to be more active in a way that works for them. Whether it’s funding a handcycle or enabling someone to try something new, we believe movement plays a huge role in confidence, wellbeing, and independence.
  • Building a Strong Community
We believe in the power of connection. Through regular social events, we make sure no one faces tetraplegia alone and everyone has a network of support around them.
  • Empowering Ambition
We help people pursue their personal, professional, and sporting goals by supporting education, training, and opportunities that make those ambitions feel achievable.

Featured Stories

Every person living with tetraplegia has a unique story to tell.

Rosey Gregory

Rosey was just 19 years old when she broke her neck in a horse-riding accident.

Rosey was thrown from a horse that subsequently slipped and fell onto her, breaking her neck. Rosey suffered irrevocable damage to her C5 spinal cord which required an emergency lifesaving vertebrae rebuild whilst she was in a coma, then subsequently undergoing a tracheostomy.

We were able to help fund an electric add on for Rosey, which will enable her to lead a much more independent life.
