1988

Our charity began as The Trevor Jones Tetraplegic Trust, inspired by Royal Navy pilot Trevor Jones. After breaking his neck during Navy ski team trials, he made history as the first tetraplegic to sail around Britain.

1993

17 December 1993 The Trevor Jones Tetraplegic Trust gained charity status, focusing on helping people with tetraplegia caused by sports injuries.

1995

18th May 1995 We changed our name to Regain – The Trust for Sports Tetraplegics to reflect our mission: helping sports tetraplegics regain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

2010
